Venetian bailo at the Sublime Porte petitioned that the translator of Venetian bailo and all Venetians in Mısır, Paolo veled Damiyan [Paolo Damiani], brings 5 barrels of wine from Venice every year. Even though he has the right to bring it without customary fees once a year according to the ahdname, some people in the customs office were charging him for the last few years. He should not be charged customary fees for the 5 barrels of wine.
